- The Data Analytics & Technical Coordination(DATC) Division of the Ministry undertakes analysis of data and statistics related to the MSME sector, and provides technical inputs to support evidence-based decision making. The main functions of the Division are as follows:
- Data Analytics & Policy Support:to consolidate MSME-related data from multiple sources to provide evidence-based policy inputs.
- Monitoringon the e-SamikSha Portalfor updatingthe Ministry’s parameters
- PRAGATI: to monitor and review important programmes and projectsthose pertains to M/o MSME.
- Compilation of Annual & Monthly Reportsacross all Divisions.
- Evaluation Studies under Surveys, Studies and Policy Research (SS & PR) Schemes.
- Tracking progress on SDG indicators.

Official Language (OL) Section

- Overall monitoring of the Official Language policy implementation in the Ministry and offices under its administrative control w.r.t. orders, instructions and targets set by the Deptt. of Official Language.
- Handling matters related to Parliamentary Committee on Official Language.
- To consolidate and review the quarterly progressive reports of the Sections of the Ministry and the offices under its control and upload the data on the portal of the Department of Official Language.
- Organizing Hindi Competitions, Hindi workshops and training of officials in OL.
- Translation from English to Hindi of Cabinet Note, Parliament Questions, Annual Report etc.
- Preparation of agenda/program for reconstitution and organization of half yearly meeting of Hindi Salahkar Samiti under the chairmanship of Hon. Minister for MSME. Coordinate with the Members of the Samiti for the meeting and also, ensure compliance of the decisions taken in the meeting.
- Organize Rajbhasha Sammelan with participation of subordinate offices as desired by the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language.
- To publish Hindi magazine from the Ministry.
- Conduct inspections of Sections of the Ministry and offices under its control to assess the status of compliance of the Official Language Policy.
- Notification of the subordinate offices under Rule 10(4) of the Official Languages Rules, 1976.
